The 2010 Chenille-Silk Collection is composed of limited edition and one-a-kind jackets that are woven with a lightweight plain weave fabric of rayon chenille, cotton, and a rayon ribbon. The collars and signature turn back cuffs are made from a highly textured silk matelasse that is hand-dyed to coordinate with the jacket. This colleciton consists of two silhouettes. The shorter jacket is available in either a solid handwoven with Shibori dyed silk accents, or a multi-colored handwoven with immersion-dyed solid collar silk accents. This style also sports a reversible belt in the back. The longer jacket is pieced in a blend of solid and multi-colored fabrics with immersion hand-dyed silk accents. Both styles are shaped, have pockets, and are available with three different collar options. As with my other collections, these jackets are perfect for wear with jeans, to the office, or over a little black number for a dressier appearance. The sumptuous colors and comfortable design are the perfect addition to any wardrobe.
